Raleigh, North Carolina Trial Attorney
For Jeanne Washburn, becoming a lawyer was an easy decision. As a child, Jeanne watched as her older sister pursued her dreams of becoming an attorney. After her sister graduated law school, Jeanne got the opportunity to watch her sister try cases in New York City. She became instantly attracted to the profession and saw law as a way to fulfill her intellectual curiosities.
After graduating college, Jeanne’s passion for law intensified, but she did not want to follow in her sister’s footsteps and move to New York. Instead, Jeanne decided to stay in North Carolina and graduated from Campbell University Law School in 1994. After passing the North Carolina Bar, Jeanne started her career representing insurance companies in trials across the state. The job gave her a wealth of experience in insurance law, but Jeanne realized that her true calling was fighting for people against insurance companies, not representing them. She decided to change roles and started her own practice to help victims to get the compensation they deserve.
Jeanne provides clients with a unique blend of legal advice that stems from her experience trying cases from both sides of the courtroom. A well-respected trial lawyer, Jeanne has more than 20 years of experience practicing law in North Carolina and is BV® DistinguishedTM Peer Review RatedSM by Martindale-Hubbell® for her legal abilities and dedication to ethics. If you or a loved one has been injured, you can rest assured that Jeanne has the experience and skill to get the best possible results in your case.
